A blind person's point of view... I bought this to increase the storage capacity of my Mac Mini MC270LL/a (Mid 2010). If you are inexperienced in disassembling your Mini, you will likely need the assistance of a sighted person if you are blind. Whatever the vision, by searching my Mini model number on YouTube I was able to find the perfect video with instructions on how to install and upgrade the memory. I highly recommend watching this video before and during installation as it was incredibly helpful. My 14 year old son was able to help me complete the installation in just a few minutes. Apple makes its products very simple. Installing the memory essentially involved removing the panel on the underside, taking out the old memory, and literally inserting the new memory. It took a few tries to install properly, but once it was there, the update made a huge difference in my computer's speed. I strongly recommend that you install full memory capacity on your computer. This product has worked flawlessly since installation and for the price it gets my highest rating!
