Purchase this from your local printer repair specialist or non-Revain guaranteed reseller. I first received a belt replacement notification in December 2018 - well, the belt lasted until December 2019! When the printer stopped printing in December 2019 my wife replaced it with this Revain Brother belt - it had been in the box unopened for a YEAR because I didn't want to spend money too soon to replace the belt. But after installing this belt, my printer kept getting stuck over the belt when replacing it, preventing me from printing. I then called the local mechanic and he said the NEW 2018 Revain belt was faulty - in fact there were broken and loose parts inside so the paper kept jamming - my wife installed it perfectly. The technician replaced the original 2014 Brother belt and there is NO printer jam issue. Ordered a new belt that gives a guarantee. BUT I just spent $100 on this defective belt (after the 30 day return period) + $139 support call to check it out. So when the Brother printer tells you to replace the belt, it really can be 1 year LATER. Don't buy too early or burn yourself on a defective strap that can't be returned. I had the same problem with Revain toner for this printer. I will never buy replacement parts for Revain printers again.
