This is the second defective unit I have owned in 3 years. First breakdown 1 year after moving into my house, since I wasn't the first to apply, the guarantee was not honored. Given the cost of these blocks, they should last more than 2 years. I have submitted a warranty claim to Saniflo while I am in this window. I hope they respect that, otherwise I'll have to find another solution. The device worked very well for several months, but gradually became louder and more and more fidgety. Flushing a Saniflo toilet with clean water now takes almost a minute to clean the pump. This block is used in a secondary half bath and has limited use. I do not recommend this product due to the lack of block durability.
