Works well...until the tip falls out.
I always lose my pen so I figured a whole bag full would be the answer. They're great for marking steel, but the tips loosen and fall off easily - it seems impossible to tighten enough to hold the tips. I think it's ok for the price, but I think it's better to buy a few better quality pens than a bag full of pens that don't have tips.
