I LOVE THESE! But when I opened them my first thought was maybe I should have bought a smaller pack because they can be reused. I was wondering if I really have that many cables. However, I grabbed them for SO MANY reasons, not just the cables. I'm a craftsman, handyman, seamstress, etc. So I've found some nice uses that can go beyond the usual needs. ie coil winding and sewing tools. And also for occasional average household needs. ie: pens, scissors, etc. There are endless uses depending on the person. However, the purpose alone is incredibly useful. Even based on my first opinion, I probably have enough cables and may need to buy more in the future (laughs). I think one pack is enough for most people to do a lot of things around the house or just cords that will probably be used for years. They have a strong hold and are also flexible and have a soft velcro strap that makes it easy to undo and attach the velcro. Also, it doesn't stick much in other places along the way, which is my typical problem when using velcro on things. (Any velcro can be stiff on some fine fabrics like silk and fine knit cashmere yarns, so I would never advise trying to use any type of velcro next to it.) to get an idea. I rarely write product reviews! Randomly when I find something interesting worth buying or when I find something disappointing not worth buying. I need to be reminded of the benefits or disappointments of the purchase so I don't forget to come back and take the time to write something sometime. To be honest, they've been such a common perk that I strongly believe they should be recommended to others. I hope this helps anyone watching and wondering.
