Review on Schwinn Day Tripper and Porter Cargo Bike Trailer: Tow Behind with Multiple Colors - No Kids or Animals Allowed by Logan Collier

Very cool and cute!

Nice little pendant, very cute, looks cool in public, no shame. The tires will not fold or fold, you need to loosen the shaft pins and then remove them for storage. But it's pretty easy to do. But it's pretty small, so I just leave it on wheels and put it in the corner of the guest room. It's really not the type to stay out in the rain because it has a good tarpaulin. The Schwinn logo looks great on canvas and goes well with my Schwinn touring bike. The top cap is very tight, too tight for me. It's a bit of a hassle, so I just prefer not to cover it up. But the bottom of the trailer is made of durable, hard black plastic and seems strong enough to take any load within reason. I wouldn't put 100 pounds in it, but I put about 65 pounds in it and lugged it up and down the hills here in town on my bike and it all went very smoothly. Just don't drive too fast because the accident will be very unpleasant. Have good brakes and use them often and apply them gradually. The main thing is not to speed, as they say, speed kills. But the trailer runs smoothly. It bounces up and down a bit when you hit a bump, but that's to be expected. The tires are good and absorb some of the 35-pound shock. You can put 40 if you want. The spokes are thick, the rims seem thick, but the hubs are just shaft. However, I suspect it will last a long time as the steel frame is super strong, looks well made but at the same time is fairly light. I can easily lift the entire trailer with one hand. The hitch adapter is convenient in that it can be left on the bike and the trailer easily removed. What is particularly nice is that there is a spring in the hitch that allows the trailer to move a little or give a little while driving. It's not just a solid tow hitch bolted to the back of the bike in one piece. The bike and trailer allow each other some kickback independently. It rolls smoothly and is well centered, not crooked and fairly flat on my bike with 27-1-1/4 tires. pretty smooth trailer on the way. I use quick release wheels and this was not a problem. One of the washers also has a small metal stop that fits into an open slot on my Schwinn frame and ensures the adapter doesn't move from its original position but stays in place. Make sure you give it plenty of room around corners or you could smash a car fender or fall into a pothole or shoulder. You have to make sure you have a large turning radius or you could get into trouble. It just takes a little patience and a little practice. You have to remember lugging that long arcuate thing behind your bike so bold fiendish caution thrown to the wind seems over. you have to stay upstairs Otherwise it's very cool for groceries or anything that fits in a 2x2 box that doesn't break the 80lb limit, despite the 100lb listed. I'd rather not push it past 75 pounds. But lots of fun! Very cool! At least that's how they think in Denmark!
