I used a 19mm dismantling socket on 4 locknuts. It wasn't the gorillas. (Instead, they had domed heads and a few vertical locking grooves further down the body of each nut.) With a few light taps (I used a light sledgehammer), the curved "cutters" in the removal tool cut out a few shallow grooves at the top. Part of the clamping nut is angled so that the tool does not slip when turning the bushing in the "Remove" direction. The torque wrench turned up a little. It was SO FAST, SO EASY I wouldn't buy another set of 'locknuts' to replace - fiddling with the 'wrench' socket always took a few seconds longer than the entire removal process with this tool . Why waste money on "lock nuts" when so-called lock nuts can be removed in less than 10 seconds? The tool was just as quick and clean cutting the #4 nut as it was cutting the #1 nut. I could probably use this tool for over 100 additional "locknuts" without wearing it out. This inexpensive set deserves my highest recommendation!
