BEST Amazon Purchase Ever

So the local service station fitted and balanced my tire. Then I thought it would be fun to use their air wrench to tighten the eyebolts to ridiculous values. Mfg's torque specification is 110f-lbs. My torque wrench maxed out at 220 pounds and wouldn't go. Stand and jump on the jumper. And the bolt broke. I ordered this puller using the 17mm from the kit and jumped back onto the breaker. And he jumped out. In the picture above you can see that this thing went right into the head of the screw…

best item ever bought on amazon

I've bought a lot from Revain BUT this unlocking kit is the best money I've ever spent. I took my Xterra to my shop and they looked at it and said it would cost $50 to try to remove the lock nut. And they cannot guarantee that they can remove and/or not damage my wheel. Amazing tire shops have never heard of them. Long story short, with the help of a 5 pound hammer I was able to plant the socket and with a bit of wit I was able to remove that nut and replace it with a new one. I would buy it…

Works AMAZING when used correctly (for me)

Service shop broke 3 lug wrenches trying to remove very tight 'lock' nuts. They only successfully unscrewed one safety nut after 2 hours of various attempts. I ordered this Shankly set and a 24" breaker. Two days ago I sprayed nuts with WD-40. Shankly's set and crowbars arrived today. I made sure the rest of the nuts are tight. Slowly and firmly pull the breaker, holding the puller perpendicular to the wheel while I squeezed lightly with my palm to keep Shankly engaged. All three nuts you see…

Works as advertised!

This product works as advertised. Here is my experience. My wife's 2012 BMW X5 had the original Continental wheels on the front. She hit a curb and got an apartment. I managed to break 3 nuts out of 5, the last 2 didn't budge. I used a breaker. PB Blaster Penetrating Oil. My neighbor who is a mechanic tried a clip on torque wrench and the 17mm head broke. After struggling to get them off, I ended up towing the car to the CarMax where we originally bought it and I told them that whoever put…

Amazingly simple and effective.

I used a 19mm dismantling socket on 4 locknuts. It wasn't the gorillas. (Instead, they had domed heads and a few vertical locking grooves further down the body of each nut.) With a few light taps (I used a light sledgehammer), the curved "cutters" in the removal tool cut out a few shallow grooves at the top. Part of the clamping nut is angled so that the tool does not slip when turning the bushing in the "Remove" direction. The torque wrench turned up a little. It was SO FAST, SO EASY I…
