I bought it because I needed to install an inverter under the dash.

Today I installed it with the cigarette lighter. I have a 12 inch fan that I connect to this. Current draw or what wire size to use. It has two 25 amp fuses on the back which I assume means I need copper number eight. The battery is only four feet away. As long as it works well.
