The float often shuts off the pump before the float is in the vertical position. Often the swimmer would lie on their side and cut off the current. UPDATE I changed my rating from one star to three. The buyer answered my question and suggested that the distance from the float to the cargo should be 6-12 inches and this solved my problem. I still only gave the item 3 stars because this suggestion should have been in the instructions.
