I must have gotten a thinner version of this contact paper than the reviewers who said it was good quality and easy to work with. When I received the roll it was so small I thought they only sent half a roll because it is so thin. Because it's so thin, it's difficult to keep it straight and smooth while applying. I spent several hours smoothly attaching it to my steel door. The texture of the "wood" is barely noticeable, and there is no texture at all on this paper. In addition, the seams are clearly visible. I think this paper will be suitable for small projects. It gets scratched or scratched easily, so I wouldn't recommend it for a desk or other surface that gets heavy use; it's just not that durable. (I bought this to put on my white front door to get an idea of what it would look like if I painted it black. Although I like it, I'll probably paint the door charcoal.) Instead of Cons, For the price and what I've used it for, I'm satisfied.
