Review on Black Manfrotto 196AB-2 2-Section Single Articulated Arm - Camera Bracket Not Included by Chris Hayes

I have a bright compact fluorescent lamp in a small handbag (umbrella soft box) on a stand, always ready to hand for quick photos. The articulating arm gives me plenty of flexibility to position myself quickly, such as high above a table for general soft lighting, close to the subject I'm filming, or in front of my face at the computer when I'm ready for Skype. It's easy to get fairly accurate positioning. At first I wanted to send it back, but I'm glad I didn't. The more I use it, the more I appreciate its flexibility and simplicity. (Although I have studio strobes and diffuser/reflector card mounts in my studio, this versatile swivel mount comes in handy almost every day.)
