My daughter loves the holiday season, especially the countdown to Christmas! We have used many different advent calendars over the years. This year we decided to combine two of her favorite things - Countdown to Christmas and Hatchimals! When I first saw this advent calendar, I knew it would come home with us! My 6 year old daughter is obsessed with Hatchimals and will be particularly impressed that this set includes accessories and a play stage for her Hatchimals. The lid of this set opens to create scenery for your Hatchimals, as well as revealing countdown doors. . The scenery has doors that can be raised to add snowmen, trees and a bridge to your scenes. Each of the numbered doors on the outside of the calendar corresponds to the day it was meant to be opened. She will open Perforated Door #1 on December 1st and then Door #24 on Christmas Eve. The doors cannot be closed, so this set is not intended to be reused year after year.
