The stand is actually solidly made for the price, but the beautiful holding arm is defective. The handle only rotates and does not lock when screwed in. Now I can't use the lock function. I am very disappointed that the shorter, lockable grab handle on the lever rotates freely and prevents the shorter hook from attaching properly - it dangles as it cannot be screwed to the handle. The handle is broken, the lock doesn't work either. I emailed the seller as a courtesy, but after a couple of weeks I didn't get a reply. Now my bike rack for two bikes is just right for my bike. I can use a ratchet strap to secure my wife's bike but it would be nice to have a properly working mount for her bike considering I paid for it. The only thing that bothers is the velcro bike straps. Not very durable so I'd be surprised if they lasted the rest of this season. Again a good price and I would give a better rating if the seller contacted me about a defective part. I even gave my cell phone number to try and get an answer. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this product. Bad experience with product support.
