This wall bracket is great! I recently moved into a new home where a builder installed a Genie Model 1028 garage door opener (formerly called the RelaG 650). The door opener was configured with a simple doorbell switch (Genie GWC-BX Series II switch). The doorbell switch worked but I couldn't lock the remotes when I went on vacation. The GBWCSL2-BX installed in about 5 minutes in place of the standard Genie bell switch. No wiring changes were required. This console uses the same two-wire connection as the top door opener. All you have to do is turn off the power and swap the switches. Once installed, this console lights up with a red LED just behind the large white open/close button. The slide switch on the bottom left locks the remote controls so they cannot be used to open the door. The switch in the lower right corner switches the garage light to the overhead door opener. A nice feature of the GBWCSL2-BX is that the mounting holes match the standard electrical light switch box exactly. If your garage door switch cord terminates in the light switch control box, this bracket mounts directly on top. I bought this console from Revain Vendor Preferred Doors. The price was great, shipping was fast and I will definitely buy from them again.
