Don't waste your time and energy
First, it's 36 inch, not 30 inch. Mine doesn't work forward, only when you pull it towards you the wick causes it to fall into a class of utterly useless. Not sure what happened here, but only two mounting bolts have nylon nuts, either they have run out or they just indicate the quality of the product. Save yourself the hassle and buy a Haviland 036 with a plastic blade, the frame is much heavier and the slide-on blade removes water and debris quickly.
