I like to work a lot on the computer and sit on the floor with the dogs (see picture). This monitor is great for that. Lightweight, no power cord. I like that the carry case can be used as a stand. The black flap on the front makes you want to keep trying to move the mouse with the trackpad (as if there were a keyboard there). I noticed that some reviewers say it's fragile. Which is a big problem when dealing with three stubborn dogs. But I use it on a soft palette, so when the dogs knock it over, it lands on something soft. I was disappointed that it didn't work with my Chromebook. It turned on (a little intermittently) but my mouse didn't move to the monitor and I couldn't change any settings on my Chromebook (settings were locked/greyed out). My photo is from my HP Pavilion. It's a heavy laptop and I don't usually like moving it around as much as my Chromebook. I was also disappointed that the non-USB end of the connection cable appears to be proprietary. I was kind of hoping it would be a micro USB - something easily replaceable. This is a black cord that is 3 feet long. It's easy to make a mistake. I just have to be very careful. It seems that the computer's performance lags a bit when I use the monitor. But I think the convenience is worth it. I've seen that some people can connect two of these. I didn't do this, but when I was working with my meter, I connected a regular monitor via HDMI and this monitor via USB and they both worked. My computer automatically recognized both monitors. No special setup is required. Or for some reason it seems like I can't get any sound through the HDMI connection when an ASUS monitor is connected at the same time. Even if I tell the computer to get sound over the connection.
