This was our second of these sets. First we made a box. It doesn't matter if you follow the instructions. You have really good instructions. This set is much more delicate than the jewelry box. There are spacers and small tools to use to make it work properly. Be sure to grind the small tips of the punch to keep the piece smooth. Apply wax to anything that needs to move. They contain a small piece and that is not enough. clear or white birthday candles work great. It comes with a working time function. This clock will be right no matter what. If you don't get it exactly right, only the swinging pendulum won't work. We've placed ours out of range to protect them, so it doesn't matter. It really works. Most of all it was fun and we got together on the same day. Mainly because we had already made another kit and knew what to expect. Another important tip - don't cut anything until you need it. The part number is usually not on the product. Some things look the same and there is a slight difference. Make sure you place the item in the right direction. Once you get the hang of it, you'll go fast.
