Nice case but puts the device to sleep

This is a good case but when I roll up the case and close the camera on the back of the device it goes to sleep. Maybe there is a way to solve the problem, but I couldn't find it. I'll keep using it for now because protection is more important than my problem. Hanging the lid instead of folding it makes it harder to hold the device.
