The growing number of incidents in my small town has me concerned for my wife's safety - still beautiful even in her seventies. This alarm clock is lightweight and easy to carry on your keychain or in your purse. It makes a very loud and obnoxious noise and has a flashing lightbulb. I immediately got a headache. It's pretty easy to use. You simply pull a pin from the top to activate the alarm. From the image on the Revain website, there is no difference between the stylus being pulled out and the stylus being inserted. There is a difference and you can see it. I have two reservations about this device. First, it's a bit difficult to get the pen out, once fully inserted into the device. I was worried that my wife wouldn't be able to open it in time. I think I solved the problem: the pin can be pulled out a little and left like that. This makes it easier to open. A partially pulled stylus doesn't sound, at least not yet. Second, this device contains a battery. You can't tell how strong it is and you can't charge it. I'm worried that eventually this will be over and I won't know about it. It's easy to check if the battery is working - just tug on the stylus from time to time - but you have to think about it, and the battery can still die before you need it. Don't charge it. I'm worried, that this will eventually be over and I will not know anything about it.
