Just got this blade. It cuts a little cleaner than a general purpose blade, I expect it will last longer than a general purpose blade because it has more teeth for hammering and slicing. Only slight foil-like abrasions on the cut edge, which come loose when wiping with a stable cloth or even with a cloth. BE SURE TO READ HOW TO CLAMP YOUR STEEL BASE to reduce blade wear, sparks and unsightly edges. I've seen people on YouTube complaining about the saw and its blades and they didn't cut the material properly. In fact, cutting a 1x1x16GA square tube at a 45ยฐ angle produces very few sparks. It's kind of a pain in the butt, basically it's almost a plunge cut, which isn't the best way to get a clean edge and no sparks.
