Flimsy blade for a heavyweight product

This blade may look the part with its high tooth count, but it doesn't hold up to heavy-duty use. After only a few cuts, the blade became warped and wobbly. On the plus side, it's a relatively affordable option for those on a tight budget. Still, it's frustrating to have to keep replacing flimsy tools and Home Improvement projects deserve better.

Just got this blade. It cuts a little cleaner than a general purpose blade, I expect it will last longer than a general purpose blade because it has more teeth for hammering and slicing. Only slight foil-like abrasions on the cut edge, which come loose when wiping with a stable cloth or even with a cloth. BE SURE TO READ HOW TO CLAMP YOUR STEEL BASE to reduce blade wear, sparks and unsightly edges. I've seen people on YouTube complaining about the saw and its blades and they didn't cut the…

Blades dependent on material and alloy!

All in all the Evolution saw is fantastic; better, cleaner, more precise and with far less heat than any cut-off saw. I used a mild steel blade to cut through a solid 4" round with no problem. I just cut 25 pieces from solid 3/4" 304 stainless steel (aka 18/8) and the blade looks perfect. But one thing you should all be aware of, the Evolution stainless steel blade is only recommended for 3 specific grades of stainless steel: 302, 303 and 304 (which happen to be easy to machine). difficult…
