I knew this would only work for wood but I put some putty in a crack in a piece of wood and when I hit that putty with the blades it dulled the chain and all teeth knocked out other wheel. I'd say it's my fault, but a warning to you: if you receive this product, use it on the wood parts of your project only. I can resharpen the chain, but the wheel is a complete waste because the teeth are almost gone. I've used blades for hardwoods like oak and maple and they worked well until I encountered putty, which is a fairly hard material.
