We bought this after buying the shock version. Our other dog ate another dog's remote control and I didn't want to spend another $80. I also hate shocks and don't feel the need for them. We chose this collar. The dots on his neck are much smaller, which is nice too. My dog weighs 5 kilos. My biggest complaint is that this collar turns itself off every 30 minutes. So when we need it to work, it doesn't work. We need to pick up the dog and turn it back on. I do not recommend this. I don't know if ours is defective or what. With 80€ I didn't have this problem. It was on or dead. This one is off all the time. waste of money.
