Review on Black Arkon Windshield/Dashboard Mount - Designed for Most Smartphones - Retail Packaging by Bob Trapp

I've been using this mount for almost a couple of years and I'm really impressed with how secure it is on the windshield! It will remain untouched for several months. In the winter months, when the car is not in the garage, it falls off at times. This mount holds the phone very tight, the phone barely moves. My wife has a much longer mount and the phone shakes all the time. Plus the "legs" that extend and grab the phone are able to slide from side to side. This came in handy a couple of times when my Bluetooth failed and I had to use a spare wired headset. I was able to change the position of the "legs" to make the cable connector hole accessible. Two downsides. (1) Although the phone is held firmly and does not wobble, it takes two hands to put the phone in the holder (you can put the phone in the woman's holder with one hand), and (2) when I take one had to take photo or video of traffic or an accident ahead I can't because the camera is covered by the back of the mount (again this is possible with my wife's mount. Not a big problem and not a showstopper as I only have a few times needed.In view of the advantages and disadvantages, I can definitely recommend this holder.I am very satisfied.
