Review on EZ Strap Universal 2 Pack by Andrew Grant

I bought 2 of these straps to attach a large Little Giant ladder to the trunk of my van. The opposing sections of the Velcro are aligned sufficiently to properly secure the ladder to the post only when the strap is loosened enough. In other words, it's not very good to just attach a strap around the rung of a ladder that lines up with the rung. It must be exactly as shown in the product photos, otherwise it will not work. Definitely not what I would call universal. In addition, the long strap is always attached to the crossbar and will dangle when moving without a ladder attached. Also, the nylon loop wore out and broke after only 6 months of inclement weather. More trouble than it's worth for the supposed time savings. I will not buy again.
