Acceptable plug; Insufficient application

Pros: 1. The plug itself worked in terms of power transmission and internet connection.2. Affordable price for a device from a major American company3. Setup was pretty easy. Cons: 1. Only one, but it's huge: THERE IS NO WAY to set a timer or schedule to turn the plug off and on again. We bought this fork for our Christmas tree; It never occurred to me that a smart socket would not have this basic function. I do not recommend you purchase this plugin until GE has verified their application to meet this minimum requirement.
