Positives:- Splash/light rain resistant IP44 rating. Decent for staying attached to a deck over the summer season.- All of the lightbulbs are incandescent with that warm light given off by a classic bulb. Note that these glass bulbs do get warm, but not hot.- Happily, these are a simple string of lights, not connected to wifi, bluetooth or a network. Plug them in and they turn on. Unplug and they turn off. Sadly, there is no switch.- The string takes standard E12 socket bulbs, so if one burns out it is easy to buy and replace. They also can be switched out with color bulbs around the holidays.- Each socket is 12” from its neighboring bulb and has a clip on one side for easy hanging.- Bulbs are included along with a few extras.- vinyl string is black which should fit most decor, deck or railing.- One side plugs into the wall and has a fuse. The other has recessed connector for attaching on additional strings of lights.Negatives:- Though I like the incandescent bulbs, I don’t like the low heat, electrical load, or glass bulbs.
