I've heard and read a lot about these weighted blankets. I just had to try it myself. Well, now I am convinced that this is a worthy product. A bit expensive, but I took a chance and it worked out well. I slept exceptionally well the first week I used it. I doubt it was a placebo effect because the first night I just tossed and turned. I usually do this for quite a while before calming down and falling asleep. immediately, it made me fall asleep easier. There may be some truth to the "wrap around" theory, but it worked. Also, many reviewers have complained about the temperature, but I haven't encountered any issues. On colder winter nights, it was enough as the only blanket. Several spring nights were fairly warm and equally comfortable and cool. Perhaps the only thing that needed some tweaking was the infill as it can move, but that's to be expected from the physical design. I recommend you follow the suggestion for 10% of your body weight. Seems the right ratio. I'm a size 15lbs and it fits me as I'm a little over 150lbs. Also, I would take a size big enough to cover your body. Measure the area on your bed if you must. Too much extra weight and material can make it difficult to get in and out comfortably, but this is just a suggestion. For me, my money was well spent.
