I installed a Pumpspy backup pump on my main drain pump (Liberty 257) with this kit. Everything was quick/easy. Considering what you get in the kit and the time you save, this is good value for money. Here are 3 reasons why I love this kit. 1. Convenience: This kit makes installing a backup pump easier/faster/easier. It has everything you need so you don't have to go to the big store multiple times to assemble all the PVC fittings, couplers and check valves to duplicate the same functionality. They do not measure, cut or glue PVC. The result is a quick/clean installation.2. Compact design. This kit keeps my main and standby pumps as close together as possible and they both fit in the sump with plenty of room. I mounted both pumps on 2.5" standoffs at the bottom of the pit and everything is still below ground level. So I only have one injection line through the pit cover. 1 pressure line in the sump makes things a lot easier when you have a sealed sump cover. Pump down cycle check valves also screw directly into the outlet of each pump to keep installation simple and compact. The installation was a shim under the standby pump to keep both pumps at the same level.
