This post does not come with cage nuts. It comes with #10-32 screws that match the threaded holes in the frame. It does have slots for cage nuts, but they're on the side, not the front. I like cage nuts, if the thread in the cage nut is damaged, replace the cage nut, but once the screw hole is damaged, that hole can no longer be used. Also, I'd like to mount to the wall instead of the side with cage nuts. In the latter case, the shelf looks asymmetrical (one side is mounted on the wall, the other is not). Additionally, the rack mount (which does not require shelves) does not lend itself well to side mounting. the ability to install the actual equipment for rack mounting. Perhaps the product should have been designed without alcohol.
