This camera works great! I let him watch my front door and I can see what's going on at least 50 yards (half a football field) away. Once you download the app to your smartphone, you can monitor traffic outside, raise an alarm, speak/announce, or just listen to what's going on outside. The microphone is very sensitive, you can even hear the birds singing. Unlike the first Zeeport camera I bought, there were no issues like network outages. There's also no audio or image lag that I've found with the Zeeport camera. Night vision works great too. The battery lasted much longer than any other brand of camera I've bought. I've had it charged and running for over 2 weeks now and it still shows as full from what you browse in the downloaded app. Connecting was easy as long as you can read and follow the instructions on how to connect. You don't need to be tech savvy to set it up and run it. I would definitely recommend this camera to anyone who wants to improve their home security without paying a monthly fee or spending big bucks for peace of mind. You can follow what's happening from anywhere in the world when you have a signal on your phone. You can rest assured that your home is safe when you travel, even if you travel far. And since you connect through the app, you can control multiple cameras and locations in one place from the app screen. I don't know why anyone would pay the high prices some systems cost or buy a system that requires you to pay a monthly subscription to monitor what you can monitor for free yourself. You decide how sensitive the motion sensor should be and how long it records. This will play for battery life, but won't reduce battery life to zero if you set it to capture longer clips. A new clip is recorded each time motion is detected and you can view and delete each instance through the app on your phone. I've found it to be a reliable and affordable way to keep track of what's important to me, my home, and the safety of the people in the home. If you wish, you can also share the camera image with other family members, which you do directly in the app. This camera is great value for peace of mind knowing you and your loved ones are safe whether you are at home or away.
