So I'm actually very happy with this purchase. I was very concerned about the negative reviews, but I found two things: 1) When I first installed the video, it was blurry. My first thought was "Shit, the reviews are right" but then I realized the lens cover wasn't in the box and was probably dirty. I wiped the lens once with a microfiber cloth and my video feed was crystal clear. YAY! 2) You must have a decent internet connection. The device remains private as the video is not streamed through the server and is therefore VERY dependent on your internet speed. I'm at 600 Mbps and have no problems with the channel dropping. On the downside, it sometimes takes a hot minute to load when I have a lousy cell signal while browsing from home. My only complaint is that the night vision could be better, but I bought a HomeKit-enabled night light to turn on when needed. This is normal and to be expected, but works exactly as I imagined. I love how it stays off until AppleKit detects I'm leaving. I feel safer and less persecuted so I can't complain. Thank you for this wonderful product!
