its great if you want the light to be super super bright. either setting the light is bright. It fits the pole, and works well, and is bright! that was the only reason i gave it a 3. The seller is great, rec'd it in time, packed well, good solid product. I am revising my earlier 3 to a 5 for those reasons. I turned the light upside down so that the light beams go up into the point of the umbrella and the light becomes a little dimmer but still very bright.
