I ain't just got these and have played around with several of the colors. they give off a sheen that is sometimes metallic and other times iridescent, and that means that often in one color, you will see lots of other colors shining through. Which is what I wanted.at first I thought the playful pink was mislabeled. It looked white from the outside, and when I took off the lid, the paint itself looked white. When I applied it to white paper, again it looked white. However come after I dried and I held it in the sun, I could see a very faint pinkish color and quite a bit of sparkle. I'm not disappointed. I think that you can add the fiery red to it to bring out more of the pink if you want.Don't let this turn you off these paints. I think they are really good for iridescent acrylics, but people need to remember that that quality really is only going to be visible when there's a bright source of light and you are looking at it from the correct angle. Also, the iridescence often does not show up well in photos, but it can if you're careful and lucky.
