I just needed clamps to hook up some small amps to the 8 gauge wire in my trunk. They did an excellent job and were way more profitable than anything else. Allows multiple amps to be neatly connected to one wire and one ground wire in the trunk. The thick plastic base provides adequate insulation from the chassis and is strong enough that I don't have to worry about accidentally breaking them when tightening the nuts. The plastic covers do a good job of preventing accidental shorts while still leaving plenty of room for a couple of splices and a couple of ring terminals. And I have no idea what purity is.
