works well for about 14 months

Keeney PP836-74VBL Universal Toilet Flush Handle is attractive in appearance and easy to install. The pole may need to be bent and tilted to accommodate your particular toilet configuration. I bought him in June 2020 and he just passed away on August 21, 2021. The spring in the handle broke and the flush lever did not return to its original position. This flush handle set is perfect. It looks good. Good work. I only wish it had lasted longer. I looked at Keene's warranty, it's for one year. So let's say about six flushes a day. For my fourteen months that would be 427 days times 6 flushes a day, so 2562 flushes. I would suggest "Kini" to get and install a better spring in the grips. I will buy another one exactly the same, my wife likes the look. Update: I decided not to throw away the broken handle assembly. Instead, I used a heat gun (to loosen the Loctite paste around the allen screw) and an allen wrench and disassembled the four-piece grip; Metal handle, spiral spring, white plastic case and mechanism shaft. I found that the coil spring was not broken, but that the spring and the area of the grip panel where the coil spring is located were coated with a thick white powdery substance. Where this white stuff came from I don't know, it can't be from the cistern area of the toilet (the handle is above the waterline of the cistern). In any event, I cleaned and lubricated the spring and grip panel area with WD-40, reassembled the grip, making sure to insert both ends of the coil spring into the appropriate holes in the grip panel and white plastic housing and tightened the Allen screw. tight and tight (no Loctite paste needed - low torque and no vibration situation) and wow it runs like new. So my comment that the "Kenny" needs to be bought and installed with a better spring was unjustified. I'm glad I didn't just throw it away.
