UPDATE: I've been using 4 of these pads for the past 4 months and machine wash each pad after about 5 days of use. They are surprisingly well preserved. They are visibly worn but still very usable and not falling apart. I think they last at least 10 washes or even more. I've raised my rating from 4 to 5 stars due to their durability. I have always used Scrunge (scouring pad) to wash dishes, but Scrunge stinks after a few weeks and is not machine washable. (You can wash them in the dishwasher, but that doesn't work very well in my experience.) I wanted something that was machine washable and really clean, and these microfiber pads did the job. I've been using it for a month now, I wash it after 5-7 days of use. Some of them have been washed 4 times and are still in good condition. I put the pad in a small mesh underwear bag so it doesn't snag on other items in the washing machine, and after washing I toss the pad (still in the bag) in the dryer.
