Update 1/2021: A clip that didn't work at first was completely useless in the end. No matter what I did, she didn't get stuck. I cleaned the mechanism and L-bar with denatured alcohol and it did little to help. He couldn't generate enough clamping force to hold the rail in place. They lay in my workshop and gathered dust. Anyway, I had to cut an 8ft miter with my track saw and needed my clamps which I suddenly remembered were useless. Pooh! In desperation, I removed the side connector from the faulty clip, removed the L-bar, and then removed the two stacked square "claws" that the L-bar goes through, which also press down on the largest spring. I rotated them 180 degrees and reinstalled. Now the clamp works great! I mitered and the track didn't move. Give it a try if you have the same problem. Original Review: They should work just fine. One of the clamps is a little difficult to tighten when I pull the trigger, so I have to give it a little extra help, but it eventually snaps firmly into place. The other works fine. Can't beat the price.
