It clogs up fairly quickly and requires frequent cleaning for best performance. Bartender's Friend seems to work well for cleaning, a magic sponge or eraser should work too. This can be inconvenient and a bit dangerous as it doesn't have a handle. Lansky has one with a $9 pen, but I haven't tested it (although reviews are good)
