We did a lot of research before deciding to buy this new instrument. Convinced that a green beam laser was the way to go, the cost and mixed reviews made buying it out of the question. Then we were taken to Huepar Box - 1G, costs less than $60. along with the simple amazon tripod, we started using our laser level in our work. First, we double-checked each laser line, looking for problems (yes, I had my doubts), checking for level deviations, etc. Averaged over a 20-30 foot span, we were within 1/16-1/8. ". We are currently working in an old structure where there is very little level and plumb. Using our 1G laser has become much easier. Self-leveling gives a beam that we can rely on. And a green beam, let's say, with very bright sunlight coming through the windows, we could still see the green beam, although reduced due to the brightness, we were able to continue our work. We are very satisfied with the 1G laser level.
