I recently underwent trigger point therapy as trigger points and muscle knots seem to be a source of chronic pain (after ruling out other things with lots of testing and expert advice). I ordered a trigger point therapy workbook and started with a cheap investment - I figured I could handle all the knots with things I basically already had, like dog treats and little balls. While they have their own "place" in my program, I found that there were many spots I couldn't reach with balls or a foam roller or dig in hard enough. I finally gave in and bought the Body Back Buddy. Let me just say - it costs $33 for this item + mini! I'm so glad I finally gave up and bought this duo. Both tools (especially the full size one) can reach places I only dreamed of and dig deep in just the right way! The little tool definitely has its place - I chose this pack because I wanted to use it when traveling. car and to the office. The small tool is just as amazing as the big one and I'm considering buying one to keep at home because while you can't reach as many spots as you can with a big tool, it's not as easy to find the right one Getting lots of power for those hard-to-reach places, it's easier to maneuver overall due to the easily accessible space, and it's been designed so brilliantly that there are about a billion ways to use this little tool.
