Review on Zoeller Waste-Mate 267-0002 - 1/2 HP Non-Automatic Heavy-Duty Submersible Sewage Pump for Effluent, Dewatering, or Sewage Applications by Micky Lovett

Two sewage pumps have failed in the last year (two different tanks). Both had different unnamed pumps. Both replaced by this Zoeller model. Although the first only works for 15 months and the second for 3 months, I am satisfied with both. We have an odd septic tank arrangement: drains drain into a two-chamber septic tank in the yard by gravity, and then spill out. into a separate pumping chamber, where this pump directs fluid uphill to the infiltrator leach field in our backyard. When the pump fails, sewage spurts out of the pumping chamber, flooding the front yard and starting to flow down the street. While the pump is running, only liquid is pumped uphill. Not a typical system, but it will work as long as the pump is running and has power. I look forward to many years with this Zoeller pump.
