Burned out in less than a year with a very limited duty cycle
I installed this into my virtual pinball cabinet to provide the sound of a geared motor, with no load on it, at 12v. This is a limited duty cycle, occasional use for only a few seconds at a time. It literally smoked tonight after making a nasty grinding noise much louder than it normally made. No obvious damage to the gears in the gear box.
- I needed a low RPM PWM controlled DC motor and this unit fi the bill.
- Vendor did not provide mounting screws in the package as indicated in the listing. Motor works fine.
