Review on πŸ’‘ Linkstar Falconeyes RX-11TD: Ultimate 360 LEDs Roll-Flex Video Light for Studio Photography Lighting by Joe Bottomkent

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Perhaps the best flexible LED bulb for the money.

I am very fortunate to have photographed with amazing light quality in my 20's. ProPhoto, Westcott, Broncolor, Lowell, Photogenic to name a few. I currently have a Westcott 2x2 which is a great light but is around $1600. In short, this light competes for a fraction of the cost. I wouldn't even look further unless you're shooting in harsh environments or need crazy critical color accuracy. Why and what: My company makes products that we sell to wholesalers and direct to consumers. With some of our products it is very important that our customers receive accurate color accuracy. I am currently using a Westcott flexible light on our core set. When Wetcott introduced Flexllight, it made my life so easy. Since then, many companies have released flexible lighting options. Some of them are more successful than others. More and more of our marketing is happening on Instagram. We needed a very simple setup that any of our marketing staff could run up and, with minimal photography knowledge, take a fun shot that tells the story of our brand at the new location we just opened. Westcott far exceeds her end goal requirements. I bought this lamp to try it based on the first positive reviews. Light quality - 4.5 - I'm picky! This light surprised me. Color rendering and light quality are excellent. Really, it reproduces colors like an animal. I lowered it by half a point because no matter how I calibrate one of my cameras to this light, I end up with a very slight greenish-yellow tint. This is not critical and can easily be fixed in post with the slightest adjustment. I've used lamps at 4x the cost to get much more serious casts. Video flicker - NONE - does not exist in any of the frames our team created. Build Quality - 4 - If you're indoors taking desktop pictures with a talking head, this light should work for a long, long time, day in and day out. It's well built. It doesn't have the fanciest finishes and strongest mounts I've seen, but it's all very functional and easy to customize. Whether it's made like a flashlight that costs 5 times as much and can withstand rain and extreme use day in and day out, no. But not 5 times more expensive. If you don't need a light to withstand rain, crazy winds or whatever a photographer needs, look no further. This world has everything. Value for money - easy 5. This is a very effective tool in the hands of a creative person. I would buy one of these lights again in a heartbeat if needed.
