Works well but can add complexity for hobbyists.
They really work as advertised and are very helpful when it comes to leveling up. But there's a slight learning curve if you've never tiled before. You need to make sure they are placed under the tile but over a thin layer (grout). If you break them, you must do it in the direction of the grout line, otherwise there may be fragments between the tiles. They can also complicate minor adjustments when trying to keep straight lines.
