I like these as they fit a journal leather cover I purchased and this was literally the only thing that would fit in it, others were a tad too big or too tall. The journal/notebook themselves. Look like they have a linen finish in the images and I was disappointed that its some sort of nylon/plastic. (Reason I don't like it) As I wanted these without a cover. But since they fit my cover the best they are now the ones I will purchase to refill it as I need. I however will be going with another brand for my daily travel. The paper itself seems fine to me, not too think/thick. However I have been a moleskine type person for a long time and it seems comparable, but I'm not too picky either. This seems to me that it can get wet and I suspect that the water will run off. The texture of the nylon/plastic cover is different. Seems very durable and I love the elastic cover closure, right tension, and bounces back to shape well.
