So far so good!: Accent & Off-Road Lighting

So far my first thoughts are: This is great. I recently installed new headlights and grille on my 08 F150 Fx2. All of this required me to wire up the turn signal and navigation lights so I already knew which wires to connect them to. I installed them at the bottom of the new grille. Pretty easy to cut. I had to change the end of the cable where it connects to the LED strip to fit where I did. Since the tape that applies this to the surface it is applied to only runs down the middle of the strips, I ended up applying a thick layer of silicone to the bottom and sides. Hopefully this will hold them in place while I ride. The time will show. If it doesn't work, it's not because of how they were made. The only issue I have is that I had to trim them down to about 10 inches so the stock portion of the light is very short now. Although it looked even cooler at a full 24 inches. I just bought a second set to break in the headlights. After that I really don't think I can glue the headlights to the front of the truck. *Update* The second set arrived and I installed them on my headlights. I updated the provided video. I changed the brightness and saturation of the video to add some emphasis to the lighting on the video and reduce the glare a bit. Again very easy to install. Just hooked up to the same daytime running light and turn signal arrangement on the back of the headlight as for the sequential lights I installed in the grille. If I run into any problems in a few months I will update the review. Otherwise, let's assume they still work as they should.
