Following the instructions I found that the screws provided came out easily. I ended up using a larger drill bit for the starting hole and lost 2 screws in the process because I rounded trying to put them in, but the end result was acceptable. It was significantly cheaper than buying legs designed for the IKEA entertainment center I have. I said I used them on IKEA furniture but they are not designed for that size of screw so you have to drill extra holes in the furniture to use them. Remember that a lot of IKEA furniture is made out of hollow parts and you need to be careful where you put the screws to make sure they are still secured in the furniture.
