. . Since I wanted to continue using my desktop setup without having to constantly plug in my keyboard, mouse, and webcam, I figured a USB switch like this would work well. (I don't need a switch that handles monitor inputs since my monitor has 3 inputs.) Overall this switch works well if you don't plan to use USB hard drives with it. USB 2.0 isn't great for file transfers, but works well with the keyboard, mouse, and 720p webcam I use with it. That being said, there is ONE problem with this device; The USB connectors are too tight on the device. You have to pull quite hard to loosen the cable. Because of this, I highly recommend connecting your devices to a USB hub. Especially if you're using something with a small USB adapter (like a wireless mouse) as there's a good chance you'll damage the adapter if you try to remove it. But for the price, fixing this issue is easy enough. and otherwise there were no problems. In that respect I can recommend it.
